ALL ABOUT THERAPY
Origins Health and Wellness Center Method
According to the American Psychiatric Association, “Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing.”
Our therapy sessions are designed to help you realize the tools you possess within to be empowered to change unhealthy practices in relation to primary foods, (values that nourishes your existence, i.e. spirituality, physical activity, relationships, career, etc.) and secondary foods, (the food you eat) to healthy practices.
With the understanding that physical and mental health concerns have the capability to impact all aspects of our life, individuals do not benefit from compartmentalizing these crises exclusive of their overall wellness.
With Psychotherapy and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach training, our objective is to integrate appropriate approaches to treatment and holistic measures to achieve lifelong change.

A Healthier, Happier You
From the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, we gained the understanding that being healthy is not just about the food on your plate; it’s about the water you drink, the air you breathe, the love in your life, the amount you exercise, whether you have a fulfilling career and spiritual practice, and so on. Primary food and the food you eat (secondary food) should be looked at together rather than separately.
Benefit from our professional experience and counseling for the following:

SHARAL OZIM, LCSW
Welcome! As a teenager growing up in Atlanta, I knew I wanted a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study sociology and eventually receive a bachelor's in Social Work from Georgia State. I continued my studies at The University of Georgia and received my master’s degree in Social Work.
I truly care for all of my clients and work diligently to help them find the answers they seek. Since 2008 I have worked with a variety of clients and patients dealing with circumstances that are unique to their lives.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy visiting natural parks, rivers, exploring different foods, (I am a "self-proclaimed" foodie). I am discovering the world of running to accompany other physical activities. I appreciate cultural arts, music, acclaimed films and serving my community.
